It's not easy to figure out what the incline angle needs to be to achieve a specific ring in a compound miter situation, so this little dialog got created. It comes up displaying the current layer specifics and you change the Upper/Lower Diameter values to match the adjacent layer that will be above or below this ring. SPP automatically calculates the incline angle and allows you to save the change back into the specifications for that layer. Usually, it's just one data entry and two mouse clicks and you're back into the main display with your ring fully configured.
