Where can I go to learn about woodworking? We are a group of folks from Gwinnett and surrounding counties in Georgia who meet every Saturday morning to talk about their favorite subject, woodworking. We have demonstrations, presentations, hands-on sessions and seminars teaching how to build furniture, crafts, gift items, and many other types of woodworking projects. We also sponsor a scroll saw club and a turning club. All skill levels are represented from those just beginning to master woodworkers doing it for a living....

The Georgia Association of Woodturners (GAW) is a chapter of the American Association of Woodturners, dedicated to providing education, information and organization to those interested in woodturning. GAW services those in the metro-Atlanta area. We meet on the third Thursday of each month at 7:00 P.M.at Highland Hardware in Virginia Highlands. Meetings are open to all.
