In my opinion, the MiterSet tool is the easiest to use, most accurate way to set up miter angles for cutting segments on the table saw. No more hours spent in calibration. No more fixing "gaposis". Click here to visit miterset.com and learn all about it. Now Rockler has a competing product and I'm using it as well. It'll be interesting to compare them,

Congratulations on your purchase of the Segmented Project Planner. I know it will help your projects as much as it has helped mine.

To start you on your way, you first have to download the installation package. But, before you do anything, you have to know that a telephone connection is not the most reliable thing in the world. And little things like thunderstorms can get in the way of a successful download. Before you start downloading the installation program, to protect yourself, write down the address/URL of this page or bookmark it in your Favorites list. Then, if for any reason your download/connection fails, you can try again by just re-establishing your Internet connection and re-entering the address into your browser. That will bring you right back here. In fact, come back here at any time to download the most recent version of the program. Current Version: 4.00.0030 (3/6/2024)

Registered customers are entitled to free upgrades. If you're a registered customer here to get the latest release, please take note that this version of the program requires a Registration Code to unlock its full capabilities (project printing is limited to 5 layers until registration occurs). You should have already received an eMail telling you what your Registration Code is. If you didn't, you changed/blocked your eMail address and I couldn't contact you; please unblock bkandler@segmentedturning.com and send an eMail now and I'll let you know what your Registration Code is.

If you're a new customer, I'll send you your Registration Code just as soon as I receive notification of this purchase. In the meantime, go ahead and use the program.

Some browsers are a little persnickity about downloading binary files. Click here to find out the defined way to do downloads for several of the more popular browsers.

I've set up one file for downloading (instspp.exe). It is a single, 20+MB, self-installing, program. Use it to do a complete installation. Since this is larger than a floppy, you will have to download it directly to your hard drive. Please be patient, it will take close to 35 minutes to download the file using a 56K modem connection. You lucky people with DSL connections can do it somewhat faster.

After you have downloaded the file, start the installation by double-clicking on the file name, wherever you placed the file. If you download it to your Desktop, it'll be displayed on the Desktop somewhere in the lower-left corner of the screen. If you download it to some other place on your hard drive, use Windows Explorer to locate the file and then execute it from there. A neat little short-cut to it is hold down the Windows key and tap the E key. Better yet, get directly to the find function via the Windows key and tap the F key.

The installation process will only take a minute or two. As soon as it is complete, you are ready to go.

If you have any problem downloading the installation program, let me know via eMail or telephone. We'll figure a way to get you up and running as fast as possible.

Once you are up and running with the Segmented Project Planner, please let me know how things go. I am particularly interested in any ideas you may have for improving the product. There is an eMail link to me at the top of this page and you'll find my telephone number there as well. The program also has an email access point in its Help menu.

Thanks for your purchase,
