Congratulations on your purchase of the Segmented Project Planner. I know it will help your projects as much as it has helped mine.
To start you on your way, you first have to download the installation package. But, before you do anything, you have to know that a telephone connection is not the most reliable thing in the world. And little things like thunderstorms can get in the way of a successful download. Before you start downloading the installation program, to protect yourself, write down the address/URL of this page or bookmark it in your Favorites list. Then, if for any reason your download/connection fails, you can try again by just re-establishing your Internet connection and re-entering the address into your browser. That will bring you right back here. In fact, come back here at any time to download the most recent version of the program.
Registered customers are entitled to free upgrades. If you're a registered customer, here to get the latest release, please take note that this version of the program requires a Registration Code to unlock its full capabilities (project printing is limited to 5 layers until registration occurs). You should have already received an eMail telling you what your Registration Code is. If you didn't, you changed/blocked your eMail address and I couldn't contact you; please unblock bkandler@segmentedturning.com and send an eMail now and I'll let you know what your Registration Code is.
If you're a new customer, I'll send you your Registration Code just as soon as I receive notification of this purchase. In the meantime, go ahead and use the program.
Whether you have just purchased the program or want to try the trial offer, your trip begins here with downloading its installer. Scroll up on this page, looking for the Buy Now button; and finding it, the blue rectangle just above. Double click on the blue rectangle. This starts the download and results with instspp.exe being stored in your Downloads folder. During the download, a small rectangle displays progress. On completion, its display changes to a message indicating your not done yet. Hover your mouse over the message to reveal ... and trash as choices. Click the ... and choose Keep. That's progress, but you're not done yet. Now you have an odd delete button. NOT REALLY. Click the arrow beside delete and click keep anyway. PHEW, done at last.
After you have downloaded the file, start the installation by locating instspp.exe in your Download folder and double-clicking on the file name.
The installation process will only take a minute or two. As soon as it is complete, you are ready to go.
If you have any problem downloading the installation program, let me know via eMail or telephone. We'll figure a way to get you up and running as fast as possible.
Once you are up and running with the Segmented Project Planner, please let me know how things go. I am particularly interested in any ideas you may have for improving the product. | Right click on the link and then select "Save Target As..." | Press and hold down the shift key while clicking on the link, or right click on the link and then select "Save Link As..." | Position the cursor over the link and press the "d" key, then select "Save to Disk" and edit the path for the save file as desired. | First select the "Options" menu, then select "Load to Local Disk", and then double click on the link as usual. After you have finished downloading files, you will want to revert to the original settings by repeating the first two steps again. | Click on the link with the middle mouse button, then enter a filename in the dialog box that appears, then select "OK" to proceed with the download. |
